About the Educator: Cris Roach, Certified Stripology Instructor
Cris Roach has been quilting for over 43 years. She began her quilting journey with hand piecing and hand quilting, and as quilting techniques and technology evolved, she continued to learn, grow, and expand her skills. Over 27 years ago, she took her first Free Motion Quilting class on a domestic sewing machine and transitioned to a longarm quilting machine a few years later.
Through her business, Highview Quilts, Cris offers custom and edge-to-edge longarm quilting services. About six years ago, a client gifted her her first Stripology® Ruler, introducing her to GE Designs patterns and products. She quickly fell in love with the innovative cutting techniques and became a Certified Stripology Instructor in 2024.
In 2025, Cris published three books inspired by her teaching style and successful quilting techniques: Free Motion Quilting: Trace, Draw, and Quilt, Beautiful Borders & Sashings, and Circle Magic. She has also designed three machine quilting rulers—Circle 1, Circle 2, and 2-in-1—for ruler work on both domestic and longarm machines. In addition, she offers an online Ruler Work for Beginners class.
Cris continues to expand her creative work by designing quilt patterns that incorporate traditional piecing methods and Stripology® Friendly techniques, making innovative designs accessible to quilters of varying skill levels.
As an experienced educator, Cris teaches Stripology® patterns, beginner-to-advanced Free Motion Quilting, ruler work, longarm quilting, and Pro-Stitcher classes. She shares her knowledge and enthusiasm at Mid-Appalachian Quilters Seminar, Lancaster/Lebanon Quilt Show, Northeast Ohio Quilt Show, Mancuso’s Quiltfest Virtual School, Original Sewing & Quilting Expo, and through numerous local quilt shops, quilt guilds, and retreats.
Cris is passionate about helping quilters build confidence, develop new skills, and discover the joy of creating beautiful quilts through innovative techniques and hands-on learning.

Celebrity Eclipse debuted in February 2010 as the third ship in the Solstice Class. Pricing is per person, based on double occupancy. Other categories and occupancy are available upon request. Pricing is subject to change until booked and deposited in full.
The All Included Package is included in all of our pricing. This package includes the Beverage Package and Wifi Package for each guest (a value of over $1000). This package is not always available, so if it is not available at the time of your booking, we will adjust the pricing at that time.
Concierge Verandah:
$4600 per person – Rooms are on Decks 9 Mid and Aft; 10 Mid; 11 Aft; and 12 Aft

Concierge Class staterooms have floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that lead to a private veranda with lounge seating, with two twin beds that can be converted to a queen-sized bed, considerable closet space, a private bathroom with shower, as well as a comfortable sitting area with desk, drawer space, vanity, and sofa. Each stateroom also has it’s own 32 inch interactive LCD television, thermostat controlled air-conditioning, direct-dial telephone and voice mail, wireless internet access, hair dryer, mini bar, individual safe, 100% cotton towels and linens, complimentary use of bathrobes, and 24 hour room service.
Special Concierge Class Amenities: Priority check-in, welcome bottle of sparkling wine with fresh fruit and flowers, evening hors d’oeuvres, pillow menu, restaurant seating preferences, shoeshine service, and Celebrity tote bag.

A $500 cancellation fee per person will be assessed beginning 15 July 2027
A $1000 cancellation fee per person will be assessed beginning 1 January 2028
Cancellations made 120 days or less prior to the cruise departure date will be 100% non-refundable.
